帕尔旺水利项目是中国20世纪70年代援阿建成项目之一，战争期间遭到破坏。中国政府于2004年承揽项目修复，分别于2006年11月和2007年11月完成一、二期工程，使项目恢复了原有功能，为改善帕尔旺省农业和人民生活起到巨大作用。

Parwan Irrigation Project is one of the China-aided projects in Afghanistan completed in 1970s, and was destroyed in the war. The Government of China undertook the rehabilitation works in 2004 and completed its first and second phases in November 2006 and November 2007 respectively. The project, with all restored functions, is making significant contribution to the improvement of the local agriculture production and people’s lives.

中阿双边贸易快速发展
Rapid Growth of Bilateral Trade between China and Afghanistan
中阿双边贸易发展迅速，贸易额已从2002年的1999万美元快速增长到2007年的1.71亿美元，增幅达755％。为促进双边贸易健康发展，中国政府已给予阿278项商品零关税待遇，并采取相关措施鼓励阿商品进入中国市场。未来两国贸易将得到进一步发展。

The bilateral trade between the two ries is developing rapidly，the total volume of which has been increased USD 19.99 million in 2002 to USD 171 million in 2007 with a growth rate of 755%. In order to improve unbalanced trade between the two ries, the Government of China has offered the treatment of zero-tariff to as many as 278 Afghan commodities, and also taken some concerned measures to encourage Afghan products into Chinese market. It is expected that the further development in trade between the two ries could be achieved in coming years.

阿东部交通大动脉喀布尔—贾拉拉巴德段由中国公司修复
Kabul－Jalalabad Highway, One Section of Main Traffic Artery in the Eastern Part of Afghanistan, Completed by Chinese Companies
由中国公司承揽的喀布尔至贾拉拉巴德全长144公里两标段公路修复项目为阿东部交通大动脉（自阿巴边境经贾拉拉巴德通往喀布尔）的一部分，现已完工或接近完工。该公路承担了阿全部进口物资的70％以上运量，被称为首都喀布尔的生命线。

The reconstruction of two lots, with a total length of 144 km, out of the Kabul - Jalalabad – Torkham Highway, a main traffic artery in the eastern part of Afghanistan linking capital city of Kabul and the border with Pakistan, contracted by Chinese companies, have been completed or nearly completed now. This road is regarded as the life route of Kabul as more than 70% of imported cargo relies on it.

The China-Donated Items Arrived in Afghanistan
自2002年以来，中国政府向阿富汗政府和人民提供过所需的各种物资援助，包括机械、设备、办公用品、生活用品、医疗用品、粮食等，为阿富汗重建、人道援助、难民救助和救灾等提供了有力支持，也体现了中国人民对阿富汗人民的友好情谊。

Since the year of 2002, the Government of China has provided the Government and the People of Afghanistan with much-needed assistance in the form of various goods, including machinery, equipment, office items, medical instruments, medicine, daily life items and wheat i.e., which makes a great support to the reconstruction, humanitarianism and refugee assistance and disaster management in Afghanistan and also demonstrates the friendly sentiment of the People of China.
