随着巴林开发旅游市场政策的实施，巴建筑业日趋活跃。中国建筑工程总公司抓住机会，积极开拓，终于在2007年拿到了一个房建项目，实现了中国在巴房建领域零的突破。该项目建筑面积约45000平方米，合同金额约为7826万美元。项目于2007年7月1日正式开工，工期608天。

Thanks to Bahrain’s implementation of its policy of opening its tourism market to other parts of the world, its construction industry becomes invigorated. China State Construction Engineering Corporation took this opportunity and conducted vigorous development. It finally successfully bid for a housing project in 2007, achieving zero breakthrough of Chinese enterprises’ access to the house building sector in Bahrain. The construction area of this project is about 45,000m2 with the contractual value of USD 78.26 million. The project was officially executed on July 1, 2007 and the construction period is 608 days.

Chinese experts worked out a comprehensive work plan according to the requirements of Bahrain side and the specific local conditions. They taught the local workers skills used especially in the diagnosis and treatment of fish diseases, as well as the laboratory testing procedures of bacteria diseases.

Chinese agriculture experts taught the Bahrain people how the Chinese plant vegetables. Altogether, 12 kinds of Chinese vegetables and fruits including tomatoes, cucumbers and pumpkins were planted on a trial basis in Bahrain, all of which grew well.
