Because of limited natural conditions, Kuwait poultry products are mainly imported abroad with a great consuming market potential for live cattle and sheep. Kuwait annually imports a large number of live sheep and cattle, as well as frozen beef, mutton and poultry meat.

China is the traditional supplier of labor service for Kuwait in the Gulf region. The first Chinese company entered Kuwait in 1979, and thanks to their low labor price, good skill, and strict construction team management, Chinese companies have gained expanding share in Kuwait construction labor market.

      科威特阿拉伯经济发展基金会是科主要对外援助机构，成立于1961年，其宗旨是向阿拉伯国家和其他发展中国家提供优惠贷款和技术援助，以帮助受援国发展经济。截至2007年，该基金会共向中国提供贷款约8.26亿美元，主要用于中国的基础设施建设和环境保护等方面。厦门国际机场的修建使用了该基金会贷款。

Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development is Kuwait’s main foreign-aid agency. It was founded in 1961, whose mission is to provide preferential loans and technical assistance to the Arab ries and other developing ries, helping the recipient ries to develop their economies. By the end of 2007, the Fund had provided China with a total loan of about USD 826 million, mainly for China’s infrastructure construction and environmental protection. Xiamen International Airport is an example that receives loans the Fund.
