中国援建的贝宁会议大厦被贝宁人民誉为科托努的一颗明珠。该项目占地面积7.5公顷，建筑面积超过1万平方米，由中国建筑工程总公司承建。2001年8月开工，2003年7月对外移交。大厦造型吸收了贝宁北方建筑“达达松巴”的风格，将1200人座的大会议厅和2个300人座多功能厅及4个不同规模的小会议室容纳其中，现代化音响和同声传译系统、舞台灯光等设备充分满足了贝宁举办各类国际国内会议和演出的需要。

The Convention Hall assisted by China was honored by the Benin people as the Cotonou Pearl, which covers an area of 7.5 hectare and the floor space of 10, 000 square meters. Built by China State Construction Engineering Corp., the project started working in August 2001 and handed over in July 2003 absorbing northern Benin building Dadasongba style and contains a 1200-seats convention hall，two 300-seats multi-function hall and four small conference rooms of different sizes. The convention hall has modern audio and video，simultaneous interpretation system and stage light and other equipment, it meets the need of various international convention and performance in Benin.

      萨维糖联由贝宁与尼日利亚共同出资建设，1983年建成投产后，先后由贝宁本地及几家外国公司经营，勉强组织了6个榨季的生产即告停产。2003年1月，中国成套设备进出口集团公司中标租赁经营萨维糖联，次年，停产10年的糖联恢复试生产。5年来，从蔗田恢复到压榨设备的修缮以及制糖工艺的整体改良，萨维糖联在中成集团的有效管理下、在中国专家辛勤的汗水浇灌下从沉睡中苏醒，焕发出勃勃生机，成为贝宁的“明星企业”。

Savi Sugar jointly established by Benin and Nigeria, was put into operation in 1983. After being handed over and operated by the Benin local and other foreign companies. It was announced the stop production after 6 season-extracting productions with difficulties. In January 2003, China National Complete Plant Import & Export Corporation, as a bid winner, began to operate Savi Sugar by leasing and return to reproduction after the 10 years of stop production. For over the past 5 years, Savi Sugar, sugarcane resumption to the repair of compression equipment and to the improvement of the whole sugar manufacturing, revivalled sleep，displayed great vitality and then became the Benin star enterprise under the effective management of China National Complete Plant Import & Export Corporation.

      上世纪80年代中国援建的洛科萨纺织厂曾经为贝宁创造了民族工业的辉煌。2000年，为了使贝宁纺织工业适应国际市场需求，中国纺织对外公司利用中国政府优惠贷款与贝方合资创办了贝宁纺织公司。新的纺织车间拥有纱锭24000只、自动换梭织机768台，年设计生产纯棉纱923吨、坯布1370米，每年为当地创造680至720个就业机会。

China’s aid project Lokossa Rosa Textile Mill had already created the glory for national industry of Benin in the 1980s. In 2000, to make Benin textile industry adapt to the international market demand, China Textile Foreign Company, utilizing the preferential loans of Chinese government, set up Benin Textile Mill along with Benin. The new textile workshop has 24,000 spindles，768 automatic shuttle changing loom with annual purified cotton output of 923 tons and 1,370 meters grey cloth. Moreover, it can create 680-720 job opportunities annually.

      由中国政府援建的贝宁外交部办公楼建筑面积近12000平方米，楼高五层。该项目的实施缓解了贝宁外交部办公用房紧张的困难，提升了贝宁外交整体形象。贝宁政府官员骄傲地称其为“西非地区最漂亮的外交部办公楼”。2008年4月14日，贝宁总统亚伊•博尼亲自为大楼揭牌。

The office building of Ministry of Foreign Affairs has the floor space of 12,000 square meters with five-storey floors. The implementation of the project has greatly eased the tension of of office space that Benin Ministry of Foreign Affairs faced with and enhanced the overall image of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Benin. Benin government officials proudly called it as the most beautiful office building of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in West African region. On April 14, 2008, the President of Benin Yayiboni personally inaugurated for the building.
