中国于1977年11月援建了穆杰雷水电站（装机容量8000千瓦）和高压输变电工程（从穆杰雷水电站至布琼布拉，全长14.5公里，35千伏/6.6千伏），两个项目均在1982年6月建成使用。自运行之后，这座电站在当地经济活动中发挥了重要作用，发电量占布全国电站发电量的37%（2007年）。

In November 1977, China invested in building Mugere Hydropower station (the installed capacity is 8,000 kilowatts) and the high-voltage power transmission project ( Mugere Hydropower station to Bujumbura with a length of 14.5 kilometers and the capacity is 35 and 6.6 kilowatts). After the completion in June 1982, the two projects have played a very important role in the local economy. The power generated acs for 37 % of the whole nation in 2007.

      为帮助布隆迪政府发展教育事业，2006年7月－2008年8月，中国援建了布隆迪高等师范学校。该学校大楼位于首都布琼布拉市东部，占地总面积为5.08万平米。

In a bid to help boost Burundi’s education, China assisted in building the normal school July 2006 to August 2008. The newly-built school building is situated in the east of Bujumbura, capital of Burundi, covering an area of 50,800 square meters.

      1985年2月援建的卡蒙盖手工业培训中心，占地面积7025平方米。至今共派出37名技术专家，为当地培训了竹编、藤编、竹家具、木工、刺绣等手工业技术人员249名。

Kamenge Handicrafts Training Center, invested by China in February 1985, covers an area of 7,025 square meters. By now, a total of 37 Chinese experts have been sent there and trained 249 handicraftsmen in bamboo weaving, rattan work, bamboo furniture, Chinese carpentry and embroidery.
