乍得石油储量丰富，中石油公司自2003年开始在乍得进行石油勘探，经几次购股，已拥有乍得H区块的全部勘探开发权。2007年以来勘探取得了重大突破。

The Republic of Chad is a petroliferous ry. CNPC began to explore oil in Chad since 2003. Now CNPC is 100% of holder and operator of Permit H in Chad after several form-in other shareholders. Good discoveries were made since 2007.

      由中国政府提供优惠贷款的项目有巴阿赫（BAOARE）水泥厂、CDMA移动通讯项目等。由中工国际工程股份有限公司承建的乍得巴阿赫（BAOARE）水泥厂将于2008年底投入建设，3年后投产。目前乍得水泥全部依赖从尼日利亚和喀麦隆等国进口，水泥厂建成后将会彻底改变这种局面。

The projects with the preferential loans by the Chinese government include the Baoare Cement Plant and CDMA mobile communications. China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. (CAMCE) is responsible for building the Baoare Cement Plant. The project is to start in the end of 2008 and is expected to be operational in 3 years. Now Chad has to import cement Nigeria, Cameroon and other ries. The completion of the cement factory is surely to change the situation.

The Chinese enterprises are displaying their prowess in the contracting market of Chad. Their main projects cover public utilities, well-drilling and water supply.

Ever since the two ries established their diplomatic relations, China has been providing lots of free aids to Chad and its people. With the aid, China built the People’s Palace and Hospital of Liberty, constructed roads and schools，dispatched medical teams and carried out agricultural projects.
