China’s Enterprises Being New Force in the Development of the Power Sector in Equatorial Guinea
为了给快速发展的经济建设提供保障，赤几政府下大力气进行电力开发，启动了水电站、电厂、输变电等多个大型项目。这些项目全部由中国企业承担，成为赤几电力开发的生力军。

In order to facilitate the rapid development of economic construction, the Equatorial Guinea government made great efforts to develop the power sector, and initiated several big projects such as hydropower stations, power plants, power transmission and transformation. All of these projects were carried out by Chinese enterprises that have become Equatorial Guinea’s new force in the development of electricity.
The picture shows the construction site of the hydropower plant undertaken by Sinohydro Corp. After completion, this plant can satisfy the power demand for the ry till 2015.

Chinese Enterprises Actively Participating in Urban Construction in Equatorial Guinea
随着赤几石油收入的增加，国家经济建设步入快速发展期，全国各重要城市建设全面铺开，首都马拉博面貌日新月异，一座座高楼拔地而起。中国企业积极参与赤几城市建设，承建了各地很多标志性建筑。

As the oil revenues increased, the Equatorial Guinea entered a rapid development of economic construction across the ry. In the capital, Malabo, many high buildings have been built. Chinese enterprises are actively participating in the urban construction, and have undertaken the construction of many landmark buildings.
The picture shows the Equatorial Guinea Prime Minister’s office building constructed by the China Dalian International Cooperation (Group) Holdings Ltd. The building has become a new landmark in the capital of Equatorial Guinea.

建交30多年来，中国向赤几提供了真诚无私的援助，实施了20多个经援项目，为赤几经济社会发展作出了积极贡献，得到赤几政府和人民的高度赞誉。其中，由中国路桥公司援建的公路横贯赤几大陆，全长223公里。2003年，奥比昂总统在通车仪式上命名该路为“中国之路”。该公路对促进赤几经济发展、加强与邻国联系发挥了重要作用。

Over the past 30 years, China has provided Equatorial Guinea with sincere and unselfish assistance and implemented more than 20 aid projects that contributed to Equatorial Guinea’s economic and social development, which won high praise the government and people of Equatorial Guinea. Among these projects, the road built by the China Road and Bridge Corporation that runs through the mainland of Equatorial Guinea, and is 223 km in length. In 2003, President Obiang named this road “the Road of China” at the opening ceremony. This road has played an important role in promoting the economic development of Equatorial Guinea and strengthening ties with its neighboring ries.
