近年来，“走出去”战略在埃塞成效显著。至2007年，中国企业在埃工程承包累计合同额达到28亿美元（不含合同额为6.1亿美元的中埃信贷一揽子合作及15亿美元的中兴公司电信融资项目），在埃累计投资额为1.6亿美元。2007年当年双边贸易额为8.07亿美元。

In recent years, the strategy of “Going Global” has brought noticeable achievement in Ethiopia. The acumulative value of construction contract of Chinese enterprises in Ethiopia has reached 2.8 billion USD (Excluding the contract value of 0.61 billion of China-Ethiopia master loan project and 1.5 billion of telecommunication finance of ZTE). The acumulative investment was also up to 0.16 billion USD. The bilateral trade of 2007 was 0.807 billion.

援建非盟会议中心
Building a Conference Centre for AU
中非合作论坛北京峰会期间，胡锦涛主席宣布中国政府将在埃塞俄比亚首都亚的斯亚贝巴援建非盟会议中心。该会议中心总建筑面积约48400平方米，建成后，将为非盟提供完善的会议设施、高档的办公用房，以及其他全面的辅助配套设施和室外设施。

During the Beijing Summit of the China-African Forum, President Hu Jintao declared that the Chinese government was to give full aid to build the Conference Centre for the African Union (AU) in is Ababa. The Centre would have a floor space of 48, 400 square meters. After its completion, it has perfect convention facilities, high-grade offices and other supplementary facilities for the AU.

埃塞最大的水电站——特克泽水电站
The Biggest Hydropower Plant in Ethiopia —Tekeze Hydropower Station
中国企业在埃承包多项公路和水电站工程。由中国公司承建的特克泽水电站为埃塞目前已建成的最大水电站，该电站于2008年9月竣工，装机容量30万千瓦，是目前中国公司在埃承揽的最大工程承包项目。

China’s enterprises have contracted many road and hydropower projects in Ethiopia. Among them, Tekeze Hydropower Station is the biggest of its kind. It was completed in September 2008 with an installed capacity of 300,000 kilowatts. It is also the largest project contracted by Chinese company in Ethiopia.
