New Achievements in Bilateral Trade

改革开放以来,中芬双边高层互访逐步增多,政治互信不断加深,经贸合作迅猛发展。双边贸易额从1978年的5000万美元发展到2007年,突破100亿美元。芬兰连续四年成为中国在北欧第一大贸易伙伴,中国连续五年成为芬兰在亚洲第一大贸易伙伴。

China-Finland high-level visits increased, political trust further deepened and economic and trade cooperation developed rapidly since China adopted the reform and opening-up policy to the outside world. Bilateral trade exceeded 10 billion USD in 2007 just 50 million USD in 1978. Finland has been the largest trading partner of China among Nordic ries since 2004, and China has been the largest trading partner of Finland in Asia for 5 consecutive years since 2003.

技术合作富生机
Flourishing Technological Cooperation

芬兰企业不断深化与中国在最新技术领域的密切合作,技术合作成为中芬经贸合作中最富活力的部份。2007年,中国自芬技术引进项目平均金额超过2000万美元,列欧洲第一,技术费占中国自芬技术引进合同总额的98.3%。

Finnish enterprises are continuously deepening cooperation with their Chinese partners in the fields of latest technologies,which became the most flourishing part of the bilateral relations. Finland ranks No. 1 among all the European ries in terms of the average value per project of technology export to China, which exceeded 20 million USD in 2007 and the patent royalty aced 98.3% of the total contractual value.
The picture shows China’s first fine paper machine located in Fujian Nanping Paper Co., Ltd. with an annual paper making capacity of 180,000 tonnes imported Finland on December 23, 1999.
投资中国结硕果
Growing Investment in China

据芬工商联合会统计,目前共有260家芬兰企业在华投资,总投资额超过78亿欧元。诺基亚、芬欧汇川、斯道拉恩索、通力等跨国企业均在中国设立了生产基地和研发中心。
图为2000年5月,诺基亚按照产业链模式建设的高科技生产基地——星网(国际)工业园在北京经济技术开发区奠基,该园区吸引了国内外近20家主要手机零配件厂商和服务供应商。
The EK statistics shows that up to now more than 260 Finnish enterprises have invested in China with total capital input of 7.8 billion EURO. Nokia, UPM, Stora Enso, Kone and many other multinational enterprises have set up manufacturing bases and R&D centers in China.
The picture shows the groud breaking ceremony of Xingwang (International) Industrial Park, the hi-tech production base constructed by Nokia employing the model of Industry Chain. This park attracted nearly 20 fatory owners which are egaging in the mobile phone accessories production and the service providers at home or abroad.
