Located in the center of Europe, Hungary is a significant traffic hub in the Central and Eastern Europe. Its advanced transport infrastructure endows it with favorable advantages in developing logistics. For this reason, China and Hungary jointly launched a project — Chinese Branded Product Trade Center in Budapest. By taking the well-equipped, logistically convenient and fully-supported building with comprehensive functions as the platform, China introduced powerful and well-known enterprises to conduct business there. The purpose is to make full use of Hungary’s advantages as the logistic center of Europe to promote famous China-made products to Europe at reasonable costs, so as to improve the image of Chinese commodities and give impetus to Chinese enterprises’ investment in Europe.

      随着中匈经贸关系的不断发展，匈牙利已成为中东欧地区中资机构和华商最为集中的国家。据不完全统计，中国在匈华商约2万人，中资及华商公司4000多家。华人经济成为匈经济生活中不可或缺的一部分，华人和当地人民和谐相处、共同发展，匈已经成为华人华商在中东欧地区最宜居住和经商的国家之一。

With the continuous development of China-Hungary economic and trade relations, Hungary has become the ry which China-funded enterprises and Chinese businessmen center in the Central and Eastern Europe. According to incomplete statistics, currently there are about 20,000 Chinese businessmen and more than 4,000 China-funded and Chinese companies in Hungary. The Chinese economy is now an integral part of the Hungarian economy. The Chinese people and the local people live and work with each other harmoniously for common development. Hungary is one of the best ries of the region for the Chinese people and Chinese businessmen to live in and to do business.

Located in the Carpathian Basin, Hungary boasts colorful and ming sceneries, such as the famous Danube River, Lake Balaton, Hungary Plain, hot springs, and numerous scenic spots and historic sites as well as the time-honored wine-producing areas. It is ideal for people to take holidays. Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is a pearl on the Danube with many World Cultural Heritage sites. Hungary became one of the destinations for Chinese tourists in 2002. With its entry into Schengen Region in 2007, it sees more frequent exchanges between Chinese and Hungarian tourists.

      匈政府为提升经济发展水平，十分重视对外开放，积极引进外资。由于投资软硬环境良好，迄今已有50余家世界500强企业进入匈牙利，外国直接投资超过600亿欧元，人均6000欧元，居中东欧地区榜首。匈牙利劳动力素质普遍较高，机械电子业基础较好，制造业成为工业中最发达的部门，同时匈牙利具有通达欧洲各地的优良物流系统，加入欧盟后，人员、资金、产品可在欧盟大市场自由流通，吸引了一大批中国大企业来此落户，行业涵盖金融、航空、电信、电子、家电等行业。

The Hungarian government attaches great importance to its opening-up to other ries and works vigorously to attract foreign investment to improve its economic development. Till now, more than 50 out of top 500 enterprises in the world have established their presence in Hungary. Its foreign direct investment exceeds 60 billion Euros, with the per capita of 6,000 Euros, ranking the first in the Central and Eastern Europe. The workers have good comprehensive abilities. Mechanical and electronic industries enjoy good foundation. The manufacturing sector is the most developed section of the ry. At the same time, Hungary boasts super logistics system to every part of Europe. After its accession to EU, the flow of its personnel, capital, and products in the large EU market has attracted a large number of Chinese enterprises to settle there, covering such industries like banking, aerospace, telecommunications, electronics, and household appliances.
