Bilateral Trade Sees Steady Growth
中哈双边贸易额2007年达到138.8亿美元，与1992年两国建交之初相比增长近37倍。中国已成为哈萨克第二大贸易伙伴。

In 2007, the bilateral trade volume between China and Kazakhstan amounted to $13.88 billion, 37 times that of 1992 when the two ries first established diplomatic ties. Now China is the second largest trading partner of Kazakhstan.

近年来，中哈石油合作获得飞速发展。继2005年底中哈原油管道一期工程完工后，二期工程也已于2008年开工。中哈天然气管道也正在紧张施工当中。

In recent years, cooperation in petroleum between the two ries witnesses a rapid growth. After the first phase of the crude oil pipeline project between the two ries was completed by the end of 2005, its second phase gets started this year. At the same time, the China-Kazakhstan gas pipeline is under intensive construction.

China-Kazakhstan Horgus Border Cooperation Center—The First of Its Kind between
中哈霍尔果斯边境合作中心是中国陆地边界线上第一个跨境贸易和投资合作中心，是两国元首关注的项目。2006年6月双方已共同启动建设。

TheChina-Kazakhstan Horgus Border Cooperation Center is the first cross-boundary trade and investment cooperation center along China’s land territory. It draws much attention the leaders of the two ries. Its construction started in June 2006 the both sides.
