With rich resources of copper ore, the production and exportation of copper for Chile has ranked the first place in the world. The copper production in 2007 has reached 5.5 million tons, acing for one third of the total output in the world. China is also the largest buyer of Chile’s copper. In 2007, the copper exported to China Chile had aced for one fourth of its total exportation of copper.

The sales of Chinese cars in Chile market has been increasing continuously. For the first 7 months of this year, the exportation of cars China to Chile have increased by 438.9%, amounting to 9895, acing for 5.9% of the Chile market share.
