There are stadiums cricket court and water pipe renovation undertaken by China. In 2007, China funded the construction of another comprehensive stadium in Slagvia Community, bringing the joy of sports to local sport-loving kids and young people.

      在进入21世纪以来，中牙两国双边关系稳步向前发展。根据中国海关统计的数字，自2003年以来，中牙双边贸易额增幅迅速，2006年中牙双边贸易额高达5.38亿美元，比2005年增长了65.6%，牙买加已经成为中国在加勒比地区英语国家中最大的贸易伙伴。中国对牙买加出口产品主要是日用消费品，从牙买加进口产品主要是铝矾土和氧化铝。中国与牙买加在经济上有着一定的互补性，两国的经贸关系在未来仍将会有很大的发展潜力。

the beginning of 21st century, the bilateral relations between China and Jamaica have been developing at a steady pace. According to Chinese Customs statistics, since 2003, the bilateral trade volume between China and Jamaica has been rapidly increased. In 2006, the bilateral trade volume reached 538 million U.S. dollars, an increase of over 65.6% in 2005. Jamaica has become China’s largest trading partner in English-speaking ries of Caribbean Areas. The products which Chinese exported to Jamaica mainly are consumer goods; the products which China imported the Jamaica mainly are Bauxite and Alumina. The economy of China and Jamaica have a certain degree of complementarities, thus the economic and trade relations of two ries will be of great development potential in the future.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relationship between China and Jamaica, China has always valued the economic and trade cooperation with this ry. In 2005, using the preferancial loan China, Jamaica started the construction of the Greenfield Comprehensive Stadium.
