自2003年，中国与安哥拉开展能源与基础设施一揽子合作，目前已实施了40多个项目。其中建设各类学校13所，使安15000名青少年得到良好的教育和技术培训；承建5个输变电线路和电网改造项目，使安1/3人口从中受益；建设和修复农业灌溉工程，使安8000公顷土地成为旱涝保收的稳产高产田；实施5个供水项目，可解决安100万居民饮水困难。

Since the year 2003, China and Angola have launched a package of cooperation. Up to now, more than 40 projects have been implemented. According to incomplete statistics, within the completed projects, China built 13 schools of different kinds to make 15,000 youths get good education and technical training, contracted 5 power transmission and transformation lines and nets to benefit one third of the people in Angola, built and restored the agricultural irrigation projects to turn the 8,000 hectares of land in Angola to high yielding farm ensuring stable yields through drought and flood and implemented 5 water supplying projects to resolve the drinking difficulties of one million local people.

      中国自1983年起，为非洲举办各类多边技术培训，1998年起举办非洲官员研修班，至2007年已为非洲培训各类人员达2.3万人次。

China has held kinds of multilateral technical training for Africa since 1983 and African official training classes have been held since 1998. Up to 2007, the volume of all persons trained reached 23,000 person times.

AU conference center aided by the Chinese Government is located in the Ethiopian capital is Ababa. According to the design of the project, the main building is 99.9 meters high, the construction area is 48,000 square meters. Completion is planned in 2011.

      30年来，中国对非投资从无到有，实现了跨越式发展。截至2007年，中国在非洲直接投资存量为44.6亿美元，分布在非洲48个国家，涉及贸易、生产加工、资源开发、交通运输、农业及农产品综合开发等多个领域。

Chinese investment developed out of nothing and realized the leaping development in the last 30 years. Up to 2007, China had invested in 48 African ries in the fields of trade, processing, resource development, transportation, agriculture and agri-products comprehensive development.

The picture shows an oil refinery in Khartoum, Sudan, a joint venture between China National Petroleum Corporation and Sudan Energy and Mining Ministry, was put into operation in 2000. The plant has a set of the world’s first-class delayed coking unit processing high-calcium, acid crude oil, and it is currently the most advanced and the largest oil refinery in Sudan, and has made important contributions to the development of the petrochemical industry of Sudan.

      1995年12月，中土集团公司与尼日利亚交通部签署尼日利亚铁路修复改造及机车车辆供货合同，金额5.28亿美元，维修铁路长达4288公里。

In December 1995, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) and Nigeria Ministry of Communications signed a contract for Nigeria railway repair, transformation and vehicle supply with a total amount of 528 Million U.S. dollars. Under this contract, China will repair the 4, 288 kilometer-long railway.

      30年来，中非贸易每年均以2位数的速度增长，2007年中非贸易达到733亿美元，比1978年增长近100倍。

In the last 30 years, the trade between China and Africa increased in two-digit number every year. In 2007, the trade volume between China and Africa reached 73.3 billion US dollars, increasing nearly 100 times than that in 1978.

      对非援助是中非经贸合作的重要组成部分，也是南南合作的典范。30年来，中国在非洲援建了629个成套项目，提供了众多非洲国家需要的药品、化肥、农机等物资和紧急救灾物资，派遣了大批各行业的专家，为非洲发展提供了力所能及的帮助。

The aid to Africa is an important part of Sino-African economic and trade cooperation and the example of the South-South cooperation. In the last 30 years, China assisted to build 629 various projects, provided the medicine, fertilizer, farming machine and other goods needed by many African ries as well as the emergency disaster relief and sent many experts in different fields to Africa in order to help the development of Africa within its ability.

      为进一步加强中非在新形势下的友好合作，共同应对经济全球化挑战，促进共同发展，中非双方于2000年共同创立了中非合作论坛。迄今，中非合作论坛已举办1次峰会、3届部长级会议、5届高官会。中方在论坛框架下出台了一系列推动中非合作、促进非洲发展的务实举措，取得了良好效果。中非合作论坛已成为中国与非洲国家开展集体交流与对话的有效机制和深化务实合作的重要平台。

In order to further strengthen the friendly cooperation between China and Africa under the new circumstances, to jointly meet the challenge of economic globalization and to promote common development, China and African ries set up the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in 2000. Up to date, one summit, three ministerial meetings and five senior official meetings have been held. China has introduced a series of concrete measures in order to promote Sino-African cooperation and economic development of Africa under the framework, which produced great results. FOCAC has become and effective mechanism of group dialogues and an important platform to deepen concrete collaboration between China and African ries.

      中国对非承包工程和劳务合作涉及房屋建筑、石化、电力、交通运输、通信、水利、冶金、铁路等领域。很多由中国企业承建的优质项目赢得了非洲国家政府和人民的广泛赞誉。

Chinese engineering contracting and labor cooperation in Africa are normally in the fields of construction, petrochemicals, transportation, communications, water conservancy, metallurgy and railway construction. Many high quality projects undertaken by Chinese enterprises in Africa have won high praise the African people and their governments.

Agriculture cooperation is an important part of the Sino-African economic and trade cooperation. These projects bring Chinese agricultural technologies and equipment to Africa and make great contributions to the agricultural development and the food self-sufficiency of Africa.
The picture shows the Farm of Friendship invested by China State Farms and Jiangsu Agribusiness Group Corporation in Zambia with the area of 667 hectares and the annual production of 4,000 tons wheat, 1,100 tons soybean and 3,000 tons corn.

      毛里塔尼亚友谊港由中国港湾工程有限责任公司建设，1986年10月建成移交。由3个万吨级泊位组成，年吞吐能力50万吨，是当时中国援非项目中仅次于坦赞铁路的大型项目。

Mauritania Friendship Harbor was constructed and handed over by China Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. in October, 1986. With an annual handling capacity of 500 thousand tons, it is composed of 3 million-ton berths and it is the second largest China-aided project in Africa after the Tanzania-Zambia Railway.

      2007—2009年，中国将在非洲建设3-5个境外经济贸易合作区，以支持中国企业扩大对非投资，帮助非洲国家提高生产能力。

During the 2007-2009 period, China will build 3 to 5 trade and economic cooperation zones in Africa to support Chinese enterprises to expand investment in this continent, and to help African ries to increase production capacity.
The picture shows a diagram of the Zambia-China Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone. Builder of this project is the China Nonferrous Metals Group, the zone covers an area of 16.58 square kilometers, accommodating 50 enterprises. Currently, an area of 11.58 square kilometers has been developed.

In November 2006, the 3rd Ministerial Conference & Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation were held in Beijing. It was the largest and highest-level foreign affair with the largest number of attending leaders since the establishment of New China. 35 heads of states 48 African ries attended the conference, and President Hu Jintao declared eight measures to support the development of African ries, mainly including the expansion of the scale of assistance, aid to the AU Conference Center, the establishment of China-Africa Development Fund to building economic and trade cooperation zone, debt exemption, zero tariff, staff training, assistance in agricultural technology demonstration centers, hospitals, schools, dispatching volunteers and so on.

      2007年6月26日，中非发展基金开业运营，首期10亿美元。设立中非发展基金，旨在推动更多的中国企业投资非洲。截至2008年7月，基金已投资6个项目，基金投资约1亿美元。

On June 26th, 2007, the China-Africa Development Fund went into operation, the first phase has 1 billion U.S. dollars. The establishment of China-Africa Development Fund is aimed to promote more Chinese enterprises to invest in Africa. As of July 2008, the Fund has invested in six projects with total investment standing at approx. 100 million U.S. dollars.
The picture shows the glass plant under construction, a joint venture project between the China-Africa Development Fund and CGC Overseas Construction Co., Ltd. in Ethiopia. This is Ethiopian’s first glass plant, with an annual output of 40,000 tons of flat glass.

China is the world's largest developing ry and Africa is a continent with the largest concentration of developing ries, China and Africa are economically complementary, which promises great potential for cooperation. China has always stood for equality and mutual benefit, diversity, pragmatism and common development and develops economic and trade relations with African ries based on these principles. Chinese leaders attached great importance to promoting Sino-African friendly relations and economic and trade cooperation. The implementation of opening-up policy constitutes a powerful driving force of the China-Africa economic and trade cooperation. Over the past 30 years, China-Africa economic and trade cooperation has gradually expanded and diversified in scale and covered areas.
